In this new collection, Karin Bubas presents a salon style grouping of color photographs which document the interior of a Victorian English Rowhouse located in central London. These intimate photographs reveal a close look at an era from the past situated in our contemporary present. Bubas' camera, which focuses on a unique blend of furniture and décor of the interior space, also records a surreal residual quality left by time. Using space that is devoid of the figure, her documents of objects and space serve as a remnant of human presence and personality.
